The big freeze

Having walked into the surgery this morning, the 2 vets have carved a path through the snow and we are delighted to report that it's business as usual at Apex Vets. We remain open whatever the weather, and there is now a safe footpath through the carpark straight to the door!

Baby Kestrel

A baby kestrel flew into the window of the Denny High School yesterday afternoon. Thankfully there are no breakeages or external injuries so after a few days hospitalisation here, he/she is being transported to middlebabnk farm, the SSPCA's wildlife rehabilitation centre, where the little bird can wait out the snow and be released when the weather is better.
